Farmers want money for buying seeds, pesticides, etc. But getting money is very difficult
They have got 2 option which means they have to take money from moneylenders or they can take it from the bank.
Bank can provide loans if they have enough fixed deposit certificate with them. Or else, they can pledge the Gold Ornaments and fetch money at a low interest rate of 4%.
Wonderful, but they have to invest half of the money as fixed deposit and balance just be kept in UTI Nifty50 Index Funds.
