Let’s start our investment on monthly basis with an investment of Rs. 4000/month. You have planned as per my advice to invest for 5 years.
Your total investment is Rs. 240,000, but your return is Red. 374,000 for the 5th year. You will be getting return on an average 17% per year. What is you keep the money in the bank? Your growth will be 5.70% for fixed deposits, and it’s taxable.
Now let you keep on investing the same amount for the coming 8 years. The total investment will be 392,000 and the total return will be Re.728,000. This is how we create corpus.
Profit earned is Re.336,986 now.
Next, what you have to do is take the fund and put half of the funds in Fixed Deposit, to use it regularly. Balance invest it in this Index Funds. Let say we invested Re. 364,000 in fixed deposits. Balance Re.364,000 in UTI Nifty Index Fund. What will happen, we see??
The fund has become 10,78,168 within 8 long years. Now take the fund, and keep half in fixed deposit and balance in UTI Nifty Index Funds. Here you are free to do your hobbies, and money will work for you!! This is called Financial Freedom.
